Local designers Lan Chung and Rona Bennett have opened TeeTee Bar, a “brother” store to their popular women’s line Fighting Eel.
The T-shirt boutique is located at 1131 Bethel St. and offers a unique selection of men’s, women’s and children’s tees by independent artists, including local designs from Organik, Little Dew Drops and Mi Cielo.
They decided to open the store after travelling to
Australia and seeing so many “cute T-shirt stores.” “We have a wide arrangement of T-shirts with hip graphics and cool phrasings,” says Bennett. “We search high and wide for cool T-shirts and put it all in one place, so you don’t have to.”
