Combining the talents of the company’s designers and team riders, Volcom offers a wide range of apparel and accessories that is sure to satisfy any board athlete’s tastes and needs.

“The track jackets are selling really well, and the technical board shorts like the Bruce Irons are really popular too,” says Clint Moncata, Volcom sales representative for Hawaii. “One thing that makes Volcom unique is our V. Co-Operative Series - a true collaboration of design between our selected riders and Volcom.

“Each V. Co-Operative style has the signature of approval from the rider it’s named after. We work very close with the riders and build everything to their specifications in terms of fit, fabric, artwork and function. Some of these athletes include snowboarder Shaun White, skater Dustin Dollin, surfer Bruce Irons, skater Geoff Rowley and skater Mark Appleyard.”

The company also launced a Product of Volcom Design (P.O.V.D.) line, a more creative collection targeted for specialty surf shops. And there’s the Featured Artist T-shirt line with designs by team riders and artists from across the country. There’s also the V. Co-Operative Series boardshorts, tested and approved by Bruce Irons himself, featuring mesh panels which allow water and air to flow freely through the short, lightweight quick-dry three-ply nylon which adds durability and strength with a soft and supple feel, and a two-way stretch nylon front panel which allows for greater mobility and flexibility during high-performance maneuvers.

Volcom is available in most core surf shops throughout Hawaii. For more information, visit http://www.volcom.com
