Musical occupation? Singer for local rock bands RESISTOR and ELEPHANT, and I also fill in as vocalist with other bands (of various genres) from time to time. By day, I work in radio ad sales for Oldies 107.9 FM and The Jewel 99.5 FM. I also host a TV show called TRX ROCKS on OC16.

Where can you be spotted? All over the island, each week. I’m currently playing several times each month with RESISTOR at Gordon Biersch (catch us there this Thursday with Star 101.9 FM, and this Saturday on our own). RESISTOR also plays regularly at Kemo’o Farms Pub in Wahiawa, Tropics in Kailua and Mad Dog Saloon in Waikiki. My “alter-ego” band, ELEPHANT, plays regularly at Anna Bannana’s, Tropics, Kemo’o Farms Pub, and Irish Rose Saloon in Waikiki. Musical accomplishments? I lived in Las Vegas from 1997 to 2005. While there, I sang for a band called Crashdove.During our almost five years together, we released several albums’ worth of great material, toured all over the western U.S., played to big crowds at some incredible venues, opened for several big-name music acts, and got some good, healthy media and major record label attention. It was a wild, fun, crazy ride and I learned so much, and, of course, it made me want MORE MORE MORE!

Most memorable musical moment? Walking on stage to the sound of thousands of screaming people at Thomas and Mack Arena in Las Vegas. Crashdove was one of the opening acts on a long showcase bill of major artists including Melissa Etheridge, Kid Rock and Michelle Branch. Crashdove played to several large audiences during our time, and there’s nothing like that feeling.

Upcoming projects? RESISTOR and ELEPHANT are both working on debut albums of original material. RESISTOR’s album will be done by summer, ELEPHANT’s album will be done by the end of this year. I’ve also just started putting together a showcase of my own original material, outside of either band.
