Winning multiple emcee battles such as Radiotron and Rumble in the Garden from 2002 to 2004. Also releasing two solo albums Defy and Love Potion Cyanide. And performing live with the likes of Living Legends, Souls of Mischief, Talib Kweli, etc.


How did you get into music?

Back when I was in elementary, I fell in love with hip-hop instantly when I first saw the music video

Any ongoing/upcoming gigs?

Tropics (right on Ward) this Friday, April 6 at 10 p.m. with Angle, Nomasterbacks and Kavet. And also the SIQ Records Official Launch Party at Lotus Soundbar on Thursday, May 3 at 9:30 p.m. with a special collaboration with Tempo Valley. SIQ’s lineup as of right now is Burning Religiously, myself, Staple Mouth, Indigenous Womb, Jonah the Whale, 12 Inch Species, Ion Myke, Riff Raff, Meiso, DJ Deadfoot, DJ Packo, Nomar Slevik and Cyrus FX.

My surroundings.


Favorite genre of music?

Besides hip-hop - indie rock.

Most memorable musical moment?

Doing a live MPC drum set at Pipeline Cafe. It was great because there was an amazing crowd response.
