Why did you decide to buy Easy Music? I was interested in opening a small store dedicated to computer recording and beat production. In the process I found out that Easy was for sale. It seemed like the better move as the customer base was already there, and it tied into my computer recording idea quite well.
Why did you decide to open a Pearl City store? Sometime in November of 2006 we found out that Music Mac was going out of business. It was the perfect opportunity to expand to the West side as there was a void to fill.
Do you plan to open other locations? In the future, yes. We have no plans on the immediate horizon though.
Do you play any instruments? I am still a total beginner, but I have been playing guitar for a few years now.
Any musical achievements? Legacy Awards - Entrepreneurial Award 2007.
What kind of music do you enjoy listening to? Jazz, reggae and hiphop.
What do you love about music? It sets me free.
