IT’S BEEN A LITTLE more than 50 years since I first met Glen A. Larson and introduced him as a member of the Four Preps, who co-starred with the Everly Brothers at the Civic Auditorium in the 8th Show Of Stars. Glen went on to become a giant TV producer with mega-hits Battlestar Galactica, Magnum, P.I., Knight Rider, Fall Guy and Quincy, to name a few. Hawaii’s always been his second home, and we’ve remained close friends through the years, so it was my great pleasure to be at his wedding this past Saturday to give away his lovely bride, Jeannie Pledger, at Kaluahole Beach near Diamond Head ...

Fun Fact: The location of the wedding was mere feet from the spot where I introduced Jimmy Buffett to Tom Selleck during the filming of Magnum, P.I. ...
