According to Cara’s mom, Wanda, the price of fame meant she lost her job at Roy’s in Woodland Hills, Calif., in order to take off the time to devote to the TV competition - as well as working on Disney’s High School Musical 3. Also in the dance mix is 24-7 dancer, choreographer and Castle grad Mark Kanemura on FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance? ... While at BayFest Saturday, you can get autographs from Three Doors Down. Eloise Holt and her family have been dishing out the good stuff there since the mall opened - and before that her mom Edith Oshima had a deli and shave ice shop, and before that she was feeding hungry Marines at her Kaneohe Restaurant (by the current Jack in the Box). Three generations, 70 years already. Congratulations, and lucky us! ...

Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center’s Father’s Day essay contest produced some wise words from the young ones. I learned forgiveness not only by the words he spoke but by the actions he made.” Wrote Kacie: “My dad taught me how to ride bike and how to play baseball, but the two most important things he taught me was pono and aloha” ...
