Windward folks who shared their talent last week at the Mendonca Building courtyard for First Friday were Angela Mathieu, Sonya Napoleon, Shayne Turner, Erin Hannah, Heather Titus and Fred Gayagas (262-5930) ... Grace Redemption Ministries pastor Paul Kamanu, a Kahuku High grad and former tour guide, led a congregation of about 100 members each week at Kokokahi YWCA. But Paul also took his humanitarian outreach to 22 nations, preaching, teaching and mentoring. He worked at KAIM in the 1980s and ministered to prisoners and the homeless. Paul died Nov. 25 and age 55, and services are at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday at Honolulu Central Seventh-day Adventist Church (234-0231) ...
