Speaking of Castle, the high school’s Health Occupations Students of America club seems pretty healthy. Taking first place at the recent state HOSA competition were members Michael Shimoda (Human Growth and Development), Jani Lindley (Nutrition) and Neill Warrington (Medical Biotechnology) ... Mobi PCS has promoted Andrew Honda of Kaneohe to customer care manager.


Andrew also was the wireless company’s employee of the year for 2009. His wife Kara, by the way, is Mobi PCS product development manager ... Another Kaneohe man to get a promotion: 23-year HFD veteran Emmit Kane is now assistant fire chief for the department. Emmit will oversee operations and how personnel carry out the mission ...
