What were 50 teenagers doing at Kahuku Library on a Tuesday afternoon? It was Kahuku Kon, a video game competition. Children’s librarian Lea Domingo reports the kids were great, and even helped set up and clean up. Grand prize winner (iPod Shuffle and iTunes card) was Jess Kanongataa. First prizes went to Derron Agbayani (costume contest), Christian Chowen (Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros) and Clarence Preston (Soul Calibur III). An encore may be coming ...
