Kailua photographer Sohee Chu‘s new book, Portraits of Aloha Hope, was released Sept. 10 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, where many of her subjects residents of the Women in Need transitional home were present. Sohee talked with and photographed 23 of these struggling women to share their stories and what has motivated them to choose a clean and sober life.
