On the second day of Christmas, my wife, she said to me, “I said, when you gonna put up the tree?”
On the third day of Christmas, my wife, she said to me, “Till the tree is done, I won’t sleep with thee!”
On the fourth day of Christmas, my wife began to hop, “C’mon, now it’s time for us to shop.”
On the fifth day of Christmas I had to hold her purse, while under my breath I let out a curse.
On the sixth day of Christmas there was no parking anywhere, and under my breath I let out a swear.
On the seventh day of Christmas, my wife ran out of wrap, I hid in the garage as she was gonna snap.
On the eighth day of Christmas, the cards were not sent out, I looked at her face and saw a scary pout.
On the ninth day of Christmas, the gift we had to buy, was sold out of stores on our fifth and final try.
On the 10th day of Christmas, her cookies came out burnt, I ate them all and said that they weren’t.
On the 11th day of Christmas, I asked if it was worth this grief, then saw her smile and felt some relief.
On the 12th day of Christmas, I looked at my kids and wife, then thought to myself, “What a wonderful life!”
