To our fans and supporters in Hawaii:

Thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts for all your letters of support, your prayers and your pleas and petitions to the government.

We believe your actions are what will make the difference. You have chosen to take a stand on your own - not because we asked you. That is what makes your efforts so special to us, and also very powerful.

Beth and I, along with Tim, Leland and the entire Chapman ‘ohana, send our heartfelt thanks and love to all of you who have shown us what the true aloha spirit is. We can never express enough how we feel and how deep our appreciation is for each of you. Your letters have brought us smiles and tears - and hope. Your words will give us inspiration for the rest of our lives - long after this chapter has ended.

Dog And Beth Chapman in MidWeek

We are sorry that we are not able to respond to each and every one of you, but we hope you know we love you for your support during this very difficult time. Although we are shocked, exhausted and upset over these current events, you are the “silver lining” behind the clouds. We shall overcome because of you!

Please keep up your prayers, letters and pleas to the government.

We also wish to thank MidWeek publisher Ron Nagasawa for providing this opportunity to address our supporters in Hawaii. We have quite a history with MidWeek. They believed in us and did a cover story on us long before the Andrew Luster case brought “Dog the Bounty Hunter” into the international spotlight. Since then, we have shared a special bond with MidWeek, sharing the Luster story and our recent wedding in its pages. We know that MidWeek speaks to the people here at home.

With much aloha and our sincerest mahalo, again, to all of our wonderful supporters,

- Duane & Beth Chapman
