All photos were taken by local glamour fashion photographer Russell Tanoue and shot at the new Outrigger Reef on the Beach hotel, the Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk and the Waikiki Beach Walk.

The Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk is Hawaii’s all-new, all-suite resort consisting of two 22-story towers (the Hula Tower and Aloha Tower) located at the corner of Beachwalk Street and Kalia Road.

At the Embassy Suites, all guests receive complimentary full cooked-to-order breakfast daily, an evening manager’s reception (with refreshments, appetizers and nightly entertainment), high-speed Internet access, a 24-hour fitness center, a CD compilation of contemporary Hawaiian music, a welcome beverage upon check-in, 24-hour business center and more.

Adjacent to the hotel is the newly opened Waikiki Beach Walk retail and entertainment complex. Spanning nearly eight acres in size, this $535 million redevelopment project by Outrigger Enterprises Group encompasses 40 new shops and art galleries, eight restaurants and an outdoor entertainment plaza.

“We are excited for guests to experience this wonderful, new, all-suite resort,” says Bob Yeoman, general manager for Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk. “We’ve put our heart and soul into the details of the resort, and want to make sure that each guest has the best experience possible.”

Across the street from the Embassy Suites is the newly renovated Outrigger Reef on the Beach hotel, which is undergoing a $100 million makeover.

Enhancements to the hotel will open in phases throughout the year. The first new rooms will become available to guests this month in the Ocean Tower, featuring significantly enlarged guest rooms and oceanfront suites.

The second phase of renovations which includes a new hotel entry and lobby area with a library of literary works from the Bishop Museum is scheduled to be completed in fall 2008.

“We are excited about the opening of our brand new Ocean Tower featuring some of Waikiki’s greatest views, upgraded amenities with services to match,” says Elliot Mills, general manager of the Outrigger Reef on the Beach. “Outrigger Reef, upon completion, will be the property of choice on Waikiki Beach.”

Kamaaina rates at the Embassy Suites start at $299 per night, and at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach from $135 per night.
