Eight-year-old Ciana Pelekai (second from right), 2008 grand champion of the Al Waterson and You Keiki Singing Competition at Don Ho’s Island Grill, is the first singer from Hawaii to make it onto the nationally televised competition America’s Got Talent. You may recognize her from the show’s promotional commercial currently being aired. Pelekai is pictured here with Al Waterson, Nancy Bernal, Haumea Hebenstreit Ho and Jordan Segundo at Jimmy Buffett’s at the Beachcomber, where the Al Waterson and You Showcase of Winners will be on the fourth Sunday of each month from 1 to 3 p.m.
