Fourteen-year-old Jasmin Nicole (center) performs every Saturday from 9 to 11 p.m. at The Shack in Waikiki. A freshman at Kapolei High, she recently released a CD with Tom Moffatt’s Shaka Records that also features music by Pookele, who along with Jasmin formed The JP Band, winners of last year’s Burger King Band Champ contest.
