Pilialoha Gaison is greeted by boyfriend Kala‘i Miller after winning the 2006 Miss Hawaii title. Miller and Gaison met a day after last year’s Miss Hawaii pageant through Miller’s cousin Amber Stone. “She was trying to get us together for a long time,” says Miller. “And finally got us in the same place at the same time and the rest is history.” Gaison is the daughter of Blane and Donnalei Gaison, and a graduate of Kamehameha Schools. She is currently a junior at Hawaii Pacific University majoring in business management
