Leilehua’s Band Booster Association will have its second fall craft fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 11 in the school cafeteria adding many new and exciting vendors, a chicken sale, baked goods, door prizes and an orchid sale.

All proceeds from the craft fair will pay for much-needed repairs, maintenance and purchases of instruments and equipment for the band. Donations also may be mailed to: Leilehua High School Band Booster Association, P.O. Box 861227, Wahiawa, HI 96786.

“It will be a family-fun time for everyone,” said Merle Misajon, co-chair of the craft fair.

“There will be lots of activities for the kids, and most of the hand-crafted items on sale this year are all made locally - in fact, right here in Wahiawa.” Last year attracted a large turnout and 30 vendor booths, she noted.

Shoppers may browse the craft tables for scented candles, silk carves, hand-crafted jewelry, ukulele and more while the Wahiawa Middle School band and Na Papa Hula O Noelani entertain.
