Central Oahu Bands To Play In Rainbow Marching Festival

The Leilehua, Mililani and Kahuku high school bands will be participating in the 27th annual Meadow Gold Rainbow Invitational Marching Band Festival, set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Aloha Stadium.

The largest event of its kind in the state, the festival draws thousands of spectators each year. The 2006 roster also includes 16 other public and private Hawaii schools, plus two from Minnesota and California, and the event sponsor, the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior Marching Band.

Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students. For more information, call 956-7657.
