Everybody from keiki to kupuna are welcome from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 28 at Dole Plantation’s first Family Fun Day.

The entertainment lineup features performances by Na Kupuna O`Wahiawa, Hikuleo and Te Lumanaki O Tekelau I Amelika, the Helemano Elementary School ukulele club, Island Breeze and singer-songwriter Sean Tiwanak.

There are arts and crafts workshops, an air-bouncer, free balloons, prizes and the chance to meet Curious George as well as Dole Plantation’s own costumed character, Pineapple Pete.

Food booths will have fresh produce, banana bread pudding, soda, shave ice, barbecued chicken, baked goods, pizza and more.

Admission is free, but proceeds from the vendors will be donated to area schools and nonprofits.

Dole Plantation is located at 64-1550 Kamehameha Highway, on the way to the North Shore. Call 621-8408 or visit www.dole-plantation.com for more information or directions.
