Giving Thanks At Country Inn

Helemano Plantation’s Country Inn Restaurant is preparing to serve a special Thanksgiving luncheon feast Nov. 25 in addition to its popular oxtail soup and daily lunch buffet.

The meal costs $12 and includes turkey and bread stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet corn kernels and pumpkin pie and cold drink.


Add a serving of oxtail soup for $7.95. The specialty has broth made with fresh vegetables straight from the Wahiawa restaurant’s farm.

Country Inn’s lunch buffet is $8.50 and offers a lineup of kalua pork with cabbage, char siu, chicken katsu, chicken curry, meatloaf, spring rolls, beef with broccoli, sweet and sour pork, mushu vegetables with steamed bun, stir fry vegetables, Island-style shoyu chicken and more.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
