Hui O He’e Nalu Hosts 2008 July 4 Paddleboard Races

The Hui O He’e Nalu Independence Day Paddleboard Race is on for 11 a.m. July 4, racing from Sunset Beach to Waimea Bay with two new divisions and complimentary entry fee ($30) for all active-duty military.

Deadline is June 30, and wrist-bands will verify entries.Forms may be downloaded at http://www.dahui.com. The new divisions are Wahine Stand Up Paddle Open and Military Division.

To mark the 30th year for the race, Hui O He’e Nalu founders will officially start the race.Waimea Bay Lifeguards also will conduct their second Keiki Ocean Challenge after the paddleboard race ceremony. (Signups will be accepted the day of the race.)
