A bank opening in Mililani proved a bonus last month for one special grocery shopper.

Out of 1,000 entries in the Bank of Hawaii/Mililani Star Market grand opening drawing, good luck shone on Danielle Chung-Ueunten. The Mililani resident’s name was drawn during the celebration May 10, and on May 14 she prepared for the challenge: Fill her shopping cart in two minutes.

With news cameras rolling, Chung-Ueunten set off up and down the aisles, cheered on by friends and family. In the end, she had grabbed $500.24 worth of meat and seafood. The excitement also was recorded for public viewing by Manolo Morales of KHON2 News.
