YMCA Camp Erdman will host a free community Play Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday when families can enjoy archery, wall climbing, swimming and the Odyssey Challenge.

“We have had it a couple of times in the last few years,“explained Josh Heimowitz, the camp’s executive director.“It’s just a free community day to get people out to see the camp and use the ropes courses, our new KaBOOM playground, the swimming pool and archery. It’s a nice day to have the family come out and have a good time on the North Shore.”

The 30,000-square-foot KaBOOM playground, which was built in June, offers a slide, tree house and tree maze.

Food, drinks and snacks are available for purchase.

No reservations needed - just come on down, and come dressed for fun (swimsuit and sneakers).

Camp Erdman is located at 69-385 Farrington Hwy. For more information, call 637-4615 or log on to www.camperdman.net.
