Liliuokalani Protestant Church has its Harvest Festival from 10 to 3 p.m. Saturday in Haleiwa featuring the Royal Hawaiian Band and local music families.

Crowds can purchase Hawaiian plates with imu-style kalua pig and laulau at the annual event, along with arts and crafts and other foods. Also planned are keiki activities and an antique car show. A lucky drawing will be held with prizes from North Shore resorts and businesses.

For details, call 637-9364. The church just had its luau in August, and it will stage a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. Dec. 13. Residents can purchase a memorial star for the tree with proceeds going to a scholarship program.
