Mililani Library is marking its 26th anniversary with four days of entertainment, edification and - what else? - a Halloween costume party, all free to the public.


* Starting Monday (Oct. 25), award-winning musician John Keawe will perform “A Tribute to Slack Key” at 6:30 p.m.

* On Tuesday, storyteller Nyla Fujii Babb will present “Stories with Aunty Nyla” at 10:30 a.m.

* On Wednesday, Barbara Chung Ho discusses “Folk Arts of China and Asia” and demonstrates the art of Chinese knotting at 5:30 p.m. Advanced registration is required.

* Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to noon is the library’s Halloween goodie bag giveaway for keiki up to 11 years old. Come dressed in costume and join the fun and festivities.
