Performing Arts Fill Furlough Friday Gap

Del.icio.usTo help close the child-care gap caused by the HSTA Furlough Fridays, Applause! Performance Academy introduces Active Minds from Oct. 23 through Dec. 18.
It comes in two choices: Performing Arts Package and Scholastic/Creative Arts Package. Performing Arts offers classes in dance, voice, acting and more.
Scholastic/Creative Arts includes instruction in creative writing, reading and oral presentations.
Both include study hall, snack and lunch. Drop-off times are between 7 and 8 a.m., with pick-up from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Classes begin at 8, with breakfast and lunch available for purchase. Fee is $300 for non-APA students; $275 for APA students and $250 for unlimited APA students. Sign-up and payment deadline is Oct. 10. For more information, call 622-1272.
