The public is invited to a town meeting on the revitalization of Wahiawa, to be held at 7 p.m. Thursday (July 24) at Kaala Elementary School.

Sponsored by the Wahiawa Community and Business Association, the intent is to open a public dialog on how to obtain a Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area designation for the town. The NRSA, according to the Wahiawa group, “engages a community in planning meaningful actions to rejuvenate a low- to moderate-income neighborhood and to help stimulate economic development.”

“Be a change maker,” urged Jack Kampfer, WCBA member and past president. “At this town meeting you will be able to share your ideas for specific actions that will improve the Wahiawa community.”

For more information, call Kampfer at 621-5109, ext. 22.
