Deadline is Nov. 8 for public comments on a new administration building at Sunset Beach Elementary School.

The state Department of Education intends to erect a new office that will give sufficient space for all staff members. The present office is in a 948-square-foot portable building.

Plans call for a 4,836 square-foot structure, which will require new landscaping, and the relocation of two portables and a monkeypod tree.

For more information, call Duane Kashiwai at the DOE, 856-0433.
