Audiences of all ages are in for a treat when Mililani plays host to Irish storyteller Niall de Burca on June 25.

The Dublin native has entertained children around the globe with his legends, stories and folktales, and he’ll do the same for Central Oahu at 6:30 p.m. June 25 at Mililani Library.

De Burca will tour 18 Hawaii libraries for their Children’s Summer Reading Program. He’s a veteran of touring tales, having conducted workshops and story programs all over Europe and in Argentina, earning the Medal of Excellence from Germany’s Heidelberg School district for his work with young authors.

Sponsoring the local shows are the Friends of the Library of Hawaii, National Football League Charities, UH-Manoa Outreach College, the National Endowment for the Arts and the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts.
