Starting this Friday, the family-run Helemano Farms will again have its popular Norfolk pine Christmas trees on sale - up to 8 feet tall - and visitors are welcome to tour the farm and select their own for cutting.

As the economy shrinks and gift lists grow, Helemano Farms also has announced a hold on prices at the 2008 level. A 6-foot Norfolk, for example, has a price tag of $40, while locally made wreaths will cost $25 each. Employees cut, wrap and load all trees with no additional charge.

Advanced sales are available to organizations seeking to raise funds.

The tree farm is located north of Wahiawa at the end of Whitmore Avenue.

The farm also has planted Leyland Cypress trees for Christmas next year. (They sold out in 2008.)

For hours of operation and more information, call 622-4287 or visit http://www.HelemanoFarms.com.
