Wahiawa General Hospital will have its Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 27 in the hospital parking lot.

Visitors can enjoy Koala Moa chicken, sushi, Spam musubi, a health fair, a white elephant sale, a plant sale and bake sale, Krispy Kremes, keiki ID cards, food booths, face painting and entertainment.

“There will also be entertainment by the hospital and Wahiawa Middle School jazz band at 10 a.m. and the Iliahi Elementary School ukulele group at 11:30 a.m.,” said Martha Peterson, Wahiawa General Hospital Auxiliary president and co-coordinator for the event.

The festival is sponsored by the auxiliary, which is a dedicated group of volunteers with a mission to help raise funds for the hospital for state-of-the-art equipment and other identified needs.

“Normally the auxiliary has had Country Christmas, which was more of a bazaar in the thrift shop on hospital grounds,” added Peterson.

“This year we’re expanding, so we’re having it outside for hopefully more community participation.”
