Wahiawa PT Crew Has Tips On Preventing Falls

Wahiawa General Hospital’s physical therapists will conduct a free “Fall Prevention and Screening” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 29 at Central Oahu Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation Clinic.

Falls are the leading cause of death from injury in the elders,state the therapists,and they account for nearly half of all nursing home admissions.

The clinic will identify risk factors for falls and teach effective strategies for preventing them.
