Artwork by 19 Central Oahu area students will be among 100 to grace pages of Hawaiian Telcom’s 2007-2008 Oahu yellow page directory.

Winners were selected from more than 2,100 entries, and age group winners were given cash prizes by the phone company May 26 at the 50th State Fair.

Their drawings and paintings depict the theme, “My Favorite Things To Do.”

Mililani Waena Elementary School student Matthew Fulton took second for grades K to 2, winning $75 for himself. Mililani Middle School’s Ramil Lorenzo Gonzales took second for grades 6-8 ($75); and Mililani High student Jessica Marie Ruiz was third for grades 9-12 ($50).
