Compared to its first suburban homes 40 years ago, the Town Center of Mililani is just a youngster. But a 20th anniversary is still a great excuse for a party, and the merchants went all out on Aug. 23. Entertaining were the Asian Lion Dance Team, Mililani High School band, Bungie the Clown and Wahiawa Hula Studio 2. There were prizes, crafts, balloons, a bonsai workshop and even a Shred-It truck to wipe out your identity trail. A silent auction supported the Trojan band, and everyone got cake and ice cream. One of three major shopping centers in Mililani, the town center also offers weekly bingo, exercise, yugioh tourneys, chess, checkers, clowns, live music and a great big clock. Next up: Funtake crafts this Saturday.
