More vendors means more selection, which means more shoppers - and that makes everyone happier at North Shore’s Sunset Country Market.

“We’re having a few more vendors now, and internally the market has changed and the vendors are happier,” said George Johnson, market manager. “Now we have anywhere between 20 and 25 vendors each week.”

In addition to an array of produce from tomatoes to mangos, the market also has jewelry, art, crafts, flowers, baked goods, Thai food, clothing, plants and even body-care products.

Sponsored by the North Shore Country Market, the Sunset Country Market is held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday at Sunset Elementary School.

The schedule will remain the same through the holiday season, except on Dec. 9 when the market will not open because the school is having its own Christmas Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Anyone interested in adding to the array of products and becoming a vendor can visit Johnson at the market for an application or visit their website at www.sunsetcountrymarket.org
