Central Pacific Bank is teaming up with Helping Hands Hawaii to collect school supplies for low-income Hawaii students through its Ready to Learn campaign.

Through the month of July, supplies and monetary donations are being accepted at CPB branches statewide, including five in East Oahu: Hawaii Kai, Kahala, Kaimuki, Kapahulu and Times Supermarket Kahala. For more information, call 544-0500.

The donations collected last year provided school supplies for nearly 2,200 children.

Helping Hands Hawaii established Ready to Learn in 1999 to assist low-income students in their classrooms.
