Hanauma Bay Education Program will conduct training sessions in June for new volunteer interpretive guides, covering the history of the bay, its geology, reef and cultural resources.

Prospective volunteers also can explore the nature preserve, hike, snorkel, go on a reef scavenger hunt and more.

A commitment of six months, four hours per week, is required for shifts that run from 8 a.m. to noon and noon to 4 p.m. daily except Tuesdays.

To sign up for training, call Morgan Mamizuka at 394-1374 or e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
