Kaimuki Library will host a hands-on science demonstration on Flight Without Wings at 2 p.m. Oct. 17.

The free program on aerodynamics is recommended for grades K-5 and will be directed by Jeff Stearns, head of the Hawaii chapter of Kids Invent. Stearns will cover all aspects of aerodynamics and pose the question “Can an airplane fly without wings?”

Children also will take part in science activities and arts and crafts - and take their projects home as souvenirs.

For more information, call 733-8422.
