For the 24th year, Hawaii State Ballet will bring The Nutcracker to Kaimuki audiences this weekend at Mamiya Theatre on the St. Louis-Chaminade campus.

Directed by John Landovsky and performed by the ballet troupe’s Junior Company, the much-loved holiday show will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, 3:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 and 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Christmas classic portrays a little girl’s fantasy journey with her Nutcracker prince through a world of fairies, princes, dancing flowers and snowflakes.
