Honolulu Waldorf School has its annual gala, Tastes & Treasures, at 5:30 p.m. March 27 at The Pacific Club on the theme “the ascending spiral of knowledge,” which is the core of Waldorf education.

“Funds raised will benefit the current school year’s operating budget to support programs such as tuition assistance, drama, music, art, athletics and professional development,” said event co-chair Sonni Au.

The evening begins with a silent auction, pupus and a no-host bar, followed by a buffet dinner, entertainment and dessert. Tickets cost $150. For details or to purchase tickets, visit www.tastesandtreasureshws.com or call 377-5489.

Founded in 1961, HWS operates independent coeducational campuses in Niu Valley and Aina Haina, serving more than 320 children from early childhood through high school.

“We are grateful for all of the support we receive from the community and continue to marvel at the generosity and aloha spirit of the people and businesses of Hawaii,” Au added.
