Del.icio.usIt looks like a new tradition has been established in old Kaimuki. This is only the second year the Kaimuki Business and Professional Association has showcased the town under the name “Celebrate Kaimuki Kanikapila,” but the crowds are getting larger, and the sponsor list has grown to include East Honolulu Rotary Club and the city Office of Economic Development. On Nov. 1, East Oahu families enjoyed browsing the craft booths, of course, as they shopped, sampled food from local restaurants and listened to music by some of their own - Greg and Junko MacDonald and Jeff Rasmussen, among others, performed on two stages at Kaimuki Community Park and on Waialae Avenue.
