The Hawaii Kai Dolphin Junior Pee Wee Cheerleaders have earned a spot at the 2006 National Cheer & Dance Championships in Orlando, Fla. - which means the squad will be selling hot dogs, popcorn, baked goods and other treats from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday during Koko Marina Center’s Christmas Winter Wonderland.

This will be their final fundraiser before 13 cheerleaders take off for the Dec. 5 competition. To offer help, contact 551-8930. Also raising funds at Koko Marina that day will be Kaiser High School’s Project Graduation, which will sell craft items and offer activities for the crowd.

The Dolphin cheerleaders, led by coach Jane Fee and assistant coach Traci Nobrega, took second place Oct. 29 in the state’s Pop Warner Championships Intermediate Small division. They will compete in the 8- to 11-year-old division on the first of four days of events at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex.
