Kobayashi Is Top Swimmer For OIA East

Kaiser’s Yusuko Kobayashi is OIA East Boys Swimmer of the Year after he helped lead the Cougars to a first-place league finish in February.

Joining him on the East’s First Team was teammate Dennis Swart, while Jordan Brown was named to the Second Team.Kalani placed Kalen Darling, Dong-Yeopo Shin and Thomas Yi on the East’s First Team, and Reinhart Lai Hipp of Kaiser was named East Coach of the Year.

In girls swimming, Kaiser’s Meagland Guagliardo and Amber Poling made the East’s Second Team, while Heather Iwasaki made Second Team from Kalani.
