* CANOE SIGNUPSPu’uloa Outrigger Canoe Club signs up paddlers from 5:30 p.m. to sunset April 20-23 at Ewa Beach Park. Go to http://www.puuloaocc.org.

* CONSUMERS The state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and other agencies present a “Consumer Wise” fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 21 at Aiea Library with tips on how to be a smarter consumer. Call 483-7333.

* WEIGHT LOSS Hawaii Sports and Fitness offers two programs at Neal Blaisdell Park: an eight-week weight-loss challenge starting at 5:45 p.m. April 22, and Youth Speed and Agility Clinics for age 6-12. For fees and details, call 478-1842.


* NEIGHBORS Makakilo-Kapolei-Honokai Hale Neighborhood Board meets at 7 p.m. April 22 at Kapolei High School cafeteria; the Waipahu board meets at 7 p.m. April 23 at the FilCom Center; and the Pearl City board meets at 6:30 p.m. April 28 at Waiau District Park. Call 768-3710.

* BLOOD DRIVES Hawaii Blood Bank conducts donor drives from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. April 23 at the Pearl Harbor FCU training room in Waipio; from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 25 at Kapolei Shopping Center; and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 26 at Ewa Town Center by Foodland. Call 845-9966.

* ID SAFETY Welmon “Rusty” Walker Jr. presents free informational workshops on ID theft awareness and deterrence at 7:30 p.m. April 23 and 30 in the Denny’s banquet room by Pearlridge Center. Space is limited. Call 780-4269.

* FUN FEST Pearlridge Elementary School has a Family Fun Fest from 4 to 9 p.m. April 24 with food, games, rides, a petting zoo, dunking booth and much more. A trolley will shuttle visitors from the Kam Swap Meet parking area. Call 483-7250.

* CRAFT FAIR Hawaii United Okinawa Association has a Spring Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 25 at the Hawaii Okinawa Center, with more than 100 vendors, food and free andagi with a donation to the Hawaii Foodbank. Early entry is at 8:30 a.m. with $5 donation to HUOA. Call 676-5400.

* AUGIE T Comedian Augie T performs a benefit show at 7:30 p.m. April 26 for the Waipahu High School athletic department featuring Jose Dynamite and Timmy Mattos. The show is in the school gym. Tickets cost $10. Call 479-0576.

* MUSUBI MANHonolulu Theatre for Youth presents Musubi Man at 3 p.m. April 27 at Pearl City Library (453-6566).

* GOLF DEADLINE Deadline is April 30 to register for the Waipahu Aloha Club benefit golf tourney, set for May 8 at Waikele Country Club. Call 216-8294.
