Below are highlights of what’s coming up in West Oahu.

* AIEA DANCE Aiea’s Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association chapter offers American Social classes in two step, cha cha and bolero at 7 p.m. Mondays beginning April 5 at Webling Elementary cafeteria. Waltz and samba also will be taught at 7:15 p.m. Tuesdays beginning April 6. Call Roy at 220-9785.

* KAPOLEI DANCE Kapolei’s Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association registers students in nightclub two step, cha cha and bolero from 7 to 9 p.m. April 5, 12 and 19 at Kapolei Elementary. Classes meet Mondays starting April 5 through May 24. Call 781-2076.

* PEARLRIDGE DANCE Pearlridge’s Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association registers students at 7 p.m.April 6, 13 and 20 in Waimalu Elementary cafeteria for its first quarter American Social classes in bolero, West Coast swing and tango. * PEARL CITY DANCE Pearl City’s Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association registers students for classes in bolero, West Coast swing and intermediate tango from 7 to 8 p.m.April 6 and 13 at Manana Elementary School. Classes meet from 7 to 9:10 p.m. Tuesdays,April 6-May 25.Call Shirley at 456-2129.

* TOFU HAIKU Kapolei Library honors the winners of the Tofu Haiku contest at 11:15 a.m.April 10,with door prizes and storytelling beginning at 10:30. The ceremony had been postponed last month due to the tsunami watch. Call 693-7050.

* NATURE ART Alyce Dodge of Honolulu Academy of Arts leads a workshop on ways to make art out of natural, reusable materials from 9:30 a.m. to noon April 10 at Malama Learning Center at Kapolei High School.
