Below are highlights of what’s happening in the West Oahu community in the next few weeks.

* The Hawaii Blood Bank holds area donor drives from 7:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m. May 19 at Kapolei High School; 7:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m. May 28 at Ewa Beach Shopping Center; 8 a.m.-2 p.m. May 27 at the Kapolei Police Station; 12:30-5:30 p.m. May 29 at Home Depot Pearl City; 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. May 31 at the Kapolei Bank of Hawaii;


* The “Runnin’ for Cole” 5K fun run starts at 8 a.m. May 20 at Blaisdell Park in Pearl City. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society relay team for 5-year-old Cole Spillman. Fee is $25. Go to runninforcole.com

* The Honolulu Chorale performs its 40th annual spring concert at 7 p.m. May 20 at Leeward Community College. Admission is $10 and $5. Call 680-7702.

* Kaiser Waipio Clinic presents a free Senior Summit lecture for the public at 10 a.m. May 24 on Osteoporosis Prevention and Care. Call 432-2675.


* Area high school graduation ceremonies include Pearl City, 5:30 p.m. May 27 at Aloha Stadium; Kapolei, 6 p.m. June 2 at the school stadium; and Campbell, 5:30 p.m. June 3 at Aloha Stadium.

* Honolulu Theatre for Youth presents Tales of Old Hawaii at 3 p.m. May 31 in the Pearl City Library for ages 2 to 5 and their families. Call 453-6566.

* Kapolei Rotary Club’s inaugural Golf Tournament is June 2 at Hickam AFB. Call 542-5556.
