* BALLROOM DANCE The Pearlridge chapter of Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association registers students for classes in nightclub two-step, cha cha and bolero at 7 p.m. June 22, 29 and July 6, 13 and 20 at Waimalu Elementary cafeteria. * BLOOD DRIVES Hawaii Blood Bank has donor drives from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 23 at Kakuhihewa Building in Kapolei, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 25 at Kapolei Home Depot, 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 26 at Kapolei Shopping Center, 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 27 at Foodland Ewa Beach and 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 29 at Ihilani resort’s Malolo Room. * KOREAN WAR The Pacific Aviation Museum on Ford Island opens “MiG Alley,” a new Korean War exhibit, June 25 commemorating the 60th anniversary of the war. Call 441-1000.

* MAD SCIENCE Mad Science of Hawaii presents “Fire and Ice Spectacular!” at 10 a.m. June 26 at Kapolei Library, featuring a fast-paced lesson in science experiments for children. Call 693-7050.

* COMPOST CLASS Halawa Xeriscape Garden conducts a composting workshop from 10 a.m. to noon June 26 at 99-1268 Iwaena St. Fee is $5. Call 748-5363 by June 24.

* ROCK BAND Loaded Dice plays classic rock and

* MA’O BENEFIT MA’O Organic Farms hosts its annual benefit dinner and auctions from 6 to 9 p.m. July 10 at Bishop Museum, with entertainment by Kupa’aina and a local menu from Town and Downtown restaurants and Kona Brewery. Tickets are $150 each and support the farm’s education partnership with Leeward Community College. Call 696-5569.

* RECYCLING SHOW The city Department of Environmental Services presents its educational recycling display at Pearl City Library during the month of June. Call 453-6566.

* COLLECTION DRIVE The Pearl City (98-138 Hila Place) and Kapolei (488 Kamokila Blvd.) locations of Hawaii Self Storage welcome donations for Ho’omalu O Na Kamali’i, a children’s receiving home on the Leeward Coast. Items needed include new clothing, blankets, towels, sports equipment, shoes, slippers, toys, school supplies, backpacks and arts and crafts. Call 521-9531, ext 224.
