* BLOOD DRIVES Hawaii Blood Bank has a donor drive from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 2 at Island Pacific Academy on Haumea Street; 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 2 at Leeward Community College; 7:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 3 at Pearl City High School; and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 4 a St. Joseph School in Waipahu. * AVIATION GALA The Pacific Aviation Museum has its fourth anniversary gala from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 2 to raise funds to save the Tower and Hangar 79.Call 441-1000.

* McTEACHERS McDonald’s of Waikele hosts a McTeachers Fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m.Dec.2,when a portion of its proceeds will be donated to Waipahu High School’s Business Learning Center. Call 528-9478.

* MEALS WORKSHOP Janne Mason, Lanakila Meals on Wheels nutrition program specialist,conducts a free “How to Put Balance in Your Meals” program at 10 a.m. Dec. 2 at Pearl City Library, presenting helpful tips on how to prepare nutritious and affordable meals, how to safely handle foods, breathing techniques to relieve stress and more.
