Below are highlights of what’s coming up in West Oahu.

* CLEANUP Hawaii Nature Center seeks volunteers to help clean up and restore Waipahu’s Pouhala Marsh from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. May 19. * PLANTS The Urban Garden Center hosts a free “Gardening for Seniors” open house from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m May 19 at 955 Kamehameha Hwy. in Pearl City, featuring tours, plant and produce sales, an Idea Garden, bonsai display and demonstrations, cooking, educational displays,entertainment, crafts,door prizes and free vegetable seedlings for visitors over 65 while supplies last.
